The cabin feels futuristic with massive screens and touch-sensitive buttons. Practical? No. But does it slay? Yes. The interior feels terrifyingly close to a S-class.
It glides on the road and it has ‘Agility Control Suspension’. Simply put, it can read the road and continuously adapt to the surface. It is super-comfortable while covering long distances. It is very good at hiding its speed and this speaks volumes about how well the suspension is calibrated. The ride is soft but is busy even on smooth roads.
It is as fast as a m340i! It takes you to 100 in just 4.5 seconds thanks to the inline-6 producing 381 hp. But, you are completely missing the point. The extra horsepower is to make the driving experience smoother and effortless. And for that, full marks for the E-class. The E220d is a better choice for fuel economy but if you want that extra juice from the engine, shell out an extra 14 lakhs for the E450!
