The Brabus XL 800: The Last Word in G63!

It’s business as usual at Brabus as they have dropped their latest masterpiece, the Brabus XL 800. Put simply, it is just a taller AMG G63 with enough ground clearance to swallow a hatch. 18.5 inches, to be precise which is double than the standard G63. The suspension system is tailor-made for heavy-duty off-roading and is fully height- adjustable.

How much powahh?

Since this is Brabus, everything is either the best or any other superlative you can find in the dictionary. This XL 800 pushes, you guessed it, 800 horses and just 1000 nm of torque. No big deal, Brabus. Act normal. It’s the same 4.0 twin-turbo V8 but the turbochargers are fatter now. 0-100 in 4.6 seconds. Seriously, this is sportscar territory now.

Looks?

The Brabus design team must have sat down and had 10 cups of espresso before designing this car. Look at the car from any angle; front, back, underneath or from the skies, there’s exposed Carbon-Fibre everywhere. Even the side-exhausts are carbon-fibre. It looks tall and this feels like an expression of abundance. Which brings me to the interior. If Rolls Royce is simple, elegant luxury, then the Brabus is luxury thrown at your face. Bam! The door panels, floor mats and the seats have been quilted. It is a festival of leather and carbon-fibre. The overhead instrument console hangs above the rear passengers to inform them about the speed and G-forces. Cool.

If it’s the end of the world and the AI robots grant you one wish, then the Brabus XL 800 would be the perf choice to run away from them in any terrain! Until then, this expensive and limited-edition land-yacht will be seen rolling down the streets of Monaco or being a garage-queen. And if anyone dares to off-road it, you have my full respect!
